Most calls we get are one of a handful of things: a failed pump, a waterlogged pressure tank, a bad pressure switch or control box, a broken line, a clogged filter, or a septic system that has not been pumped in too many years. We diagnose it on site and tell you what it will take to fix before we start.

Maintenance that prevents the emergency call
Filters and UV lamps on a schedule, annual pressure and flow checks, septic pumped on the right interval for your household size. It is cheaper than a failure in February, and it is the difference between equipment that lasts ten years and equipment that lasts twenty.
Septic basics for new owners
Pump the tank every three to five years, keep vehicles off the leach field, do not put wipes, grease or chemicals down the drain, and spread out your laundry loads. Slow drains, wet ground over the field or a smell outside are early warnings — call before it backs up into the house.

Call before it turns into a replacement
Any of these usually means something is failing, not failed. Caught early it is a service call instead of a new system.
- Pressure that drops off in the shower or fades through the day
- The pump running more often, or running and never shutting off
- Air spitting from the taps, or water that suddenly runs cloudy
- A change in taste, smell or staining on fixtures
- Slow drains through the whole house, not just one fixture
- Wet ground, lush grass or odor over the leach field
- A breaker that trips when the pump kicks on
- No record of the septic tank being pumped in five years or more
